What if we never left? Remember that night in the basement where I got up to leave... I think about it often, imagining if I hadn't just turned to look back but actually came and sat by you and sorted everything out. Would we still be there? It's impossible to imagine, like how the old world felt before the new one. I was born into a version of the new world and I've watched it degrade ever since. We're living in a burning temple; a city always on fire. If I drop another match in the streets, what difference does it make?

I think I'll take a couple of days off, if it's not too much trouble.

FOR EVER was a subtle departure from the sounds on their first EP, You Are Loved, but this release really turns the progression of sounds and themes up to 11.
